Ingredients
Dal toor and masoor | 200 gm. |

Onion finely chopped |

Coriander leaves | 10

Red chili powder | 10 gm. |
Mustard seeds | 10 gm. |
Green chili | 5 gm. |
Method
Heat half of the butter in a pan. Add mustard seeds ,green chilli chopped, half of the chopped onion and garlic and saute till golden and add chopped tomatoes.
Add turmeric powder chili powder and cumin powder and boiled dal, two cups of water and salt to taste. Stir and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for twenty minutes.Add this seasoning to the dal, simmer for two minutes and remove from heat. Serve hot, and garnish chopped coriander leaves.
